The City of Yonkers is well known for its fabulous pizza. But who has the best slices in town? Following weeks of head-to-head competition online and thousands of community votes, the Pizza Madness contest crowned the winner A&V Pizzeria at 281 Morsemere Avenue.
On October 31, Mayor Mike Spano and city officials paid a visit to A&V Pizzeria to share a slice or two with owner Pino and congratulate him as the 2025 Yonkers Pizza Madness Champion.
Family-owned and operated by Pino for decades, A&V Pizzeria has been a Yonkers favorite, known for its classic slices and longtime neighborhood presence. The contest was held in celebration of National Pizza Month which highlighted Yonkers’ local businesses, community pride, and love for great pizza.
