
For the past 80s, Yonkers Contracting Company has been a model of success. In addition to employing many Yonkers residents, YCC has transformed the region’s infrastructure from major highways to bridges to tunnels to commuter rail lines. In a sense, Yonkers Contracting has literally paved the way for the region’s economic growth.
On October 3 Mayor Mike Spano joined with nearly 400 guests, employees and public officials to celebrate the company’s many achievements under the leadership of its Chairman Carl Petrillo.
Joining Mayor Spano at the event were Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins and Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace. Among YCC’s many milestones, the company has completed more than 1,350 projects at an estimated cost of $13 billion across Westchester and the New York Metro region.
